Twitter Labels Trump's Doctored Video As "Manipulated Media"

A doctored video clip shared by Donald Trump has been labeled as “manipulated media” by Twitter. This is the third time the company has had to take action over inflammatory or misleading tweets from Donald.
Donnie posted the video with the caption “Terrified toddler runs from racist baby”. The video features a fake CNN graphic and says “America is not the problem. Fake news is.” A Twitter spokespersons stated, “This tweet has been labeled per our synthetic and manipulated media policy to give people more context.”
The video shows doctored CNN footage from a video that originally showed the toddlers embracing, while Trump’s version shows the black child running away from the white child. CNN responded to Trump’s use of the footage in the tweet, telling him to “be better”.
CNN reported that the father involved in the video also responded to the video on Twitter,
This is not the first time Twitter has had to put a label on a Trump Tweet. On May 31st, Trump tweeted a warning to George Floyd protestors in Minneapolis that “when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” Twitter hid the tweet for violating their glorifying violence policy. Twitter’s statement then read, “This tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the tweet to remain accessible.”
For a long time, Twitter stayed silent on Trump’s inflammatory tweets - now that they continue to take action, you know T***p has really spiraled.
