Trump Makes A Jab At Lebron James' Intelligence, Social Media Reacts

In yet another instance, an outside force has dimmed a light on the instability and contradictions that lay within the Trump White House. Just days after the opening of Lebron James' I Promise School, an elementary school providing free education, food, and college access to at-risk children, Donald Trump took to Twitter to take a jab at CNN's Don Lemon and athlete-turned-philantropist Lebron James:
“ Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!”

The tweet fits a steady pattern of Donald Trump using his personal Twitter to ramp up attacks on black athletes, or even black people in the sports industry - Steph Curry, Jemele Hill, Lebron James, and Colin Kaepernick, just to name a few.
Melania Trump's spokeswoman contradicted Donald Trump in a statement, "It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today,"
