Former White House Chief Strategist Turns On Trump, Calls Trump Tower Meeting With Russian Officials 'Treasonous'

Former White House chief strategist has called the 2016 June meeting between high level Trump campaign officials (like Donald Trump Jr.) and Russian officials 'treasonous'. The infamous meeting took place at Trump Tower, and Donald Trump Jr. changed his story two times before finally admitting the meeting took place to get dirt on Hillary Clinton. 

According to the Guardian, Bannon shared his thoughts on the meeting, 

“The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor — with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers...Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad s***, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

Y'all. Steve Bannon has officially turned on his alt-right, nationalist manz, Donald Trump. Bannon peacefully made his White House departure last August, and appeared to maintain his avid support of Trump. New year, new energy?
