Trump Tried To Lie On The Wall Street Journal But They Fired Back With The Receipts

By: Kayla Pasacreta

Trump's Thursday chaotic interview with Wall Street Journal pretty much went unnoticed during all of the pushback from the 'shithole' gate. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) quoted Trump as saying, “I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong-un. I have relationships with people. I think you people are surprised.” Any sane person was taken aback from this outright lie, given Trump's persistent feud with Jong-un. Just two weeks ago, Trump tweeted, "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

So, Trump saying he has a good relationship with Kim Jong-Un pretty much sounds f**kin crazy. Nevertheless, the quote is not surprising coming from Trump. At 4:58 Sunday morning, Trump began tweeting about the WSJ's quote:

Although Trump crowns most news organizations with fake news trophies, the conservative WSJ was not having it. To preserve their credibility and stand by their interview, the publication stood  released audio from the interview with Trump; which proved the quote was exactly what Trump said.

That's what we call receipts, hunny.
