Gunman Fires 50 Shots at Congressional Staffers

BREAKING: Members of Congress, their staff members, and Congressional police were all targets of a shooting. Members of Congress were shot while practicing for their congressional baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia, as what is being called a deliberate attack. The gunman fired a total of 50 shots.

Representative Steve Scalise (R-LA), the House Majority Whip, was shot and is suffering non-threatening wounds. He is in undergoing surgery. Thanks to immediate support by Capitol Police officers, no one suffered life threatening complications.
