#ShadeKing, Bush Throws Shade At Trump Without Even Saying His Name

In a speech today at a forum sponsored by Bush Institute, former President George W. Bush acknowledged and confronted the extreme division in the country. He used the podium to condemn bigotry and white supremacy, confront the massive amount of "fabrications" into the current political sphere, and pleaded with citizens to "rediscover American identity".
Bush declared how important it is for children to have 'positive' role models, and continued, "Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone, provides permission for cruelty and bigotry, and compromises the moral education of children.' Even though he did not explicitly say any names, y'all know Trump has been known to bully and demean people, especially via Twitter.
Bush also used strong language to condemn white supremacists. Instead of Trump's soft tone on neo-nazis, Bush referred to them as 'bigots' and 'anti-American'. He even spoke in defense of the dignity of immigrants, "We've seen nationalism distorted into nativism, forgotten the dynamism that immigration has always brought to America."
Although Bush didn't specifically call out Trump, he certainly threw shade in the classiest way possible. All Bush explained as wrong with politics in this country is exactly what Trump does on a daily basis. Side note, you know shit is seriously weird in this country when Bush is being applauded.
