Trump Catches Heat for Providing Fast Food for Clemson Football players
BY: KAYLA PASACRETA
Tuesday morning, Trump boasted about providing for “1000 hamberders” for Clemson football players during their championship visit to the White House. Because much of the White House cooking staff is furloughed due to the government shutdown, Trump personally paid for “great American food” for the championship winners.
Tuesday, Trump said he provided 1,000 hamburgers, contradicting his previous statement that he provided 300.
Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!
