What's Up With Stormy Daniels?

As the days loom, it seems to be more and more clear that Donald Trump had a sexual affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, a.k.a Stephanie Clifford. CNN has reported that President Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen used the Trump Organization’s email to negotiate a $130,00-dollar payment to the adult film actress. Cohen originally stated the Trump Organization had nothing to do with the transaction, "neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford." This brings even more fuel to the scandal, given that if campaign funds were used for the non-disclosure agreement, the Trump Campaign violated federal campaign law.

Now, Stormy Daniels is fighting back and has filed a lawsuit that alleges Donald Trump never signed the nondisclosure agreement, giving her free reign to talk about her sexual encounters with the President. As soon as the lawsuit aired, Press Secretary Sanders Huckabee made a statement during her press briefing that the litigation was “won in the President's favor.” This statement signals that the agreement existed.

Trump has not issued any tweets on Daniels (yet), but many West Wing sources reported that he was upset with Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders for even commenting on the situation.
