The White House's Govt. Shutdown Voicemail Is Petty AF

Let's be honest - Donald Trump has been on some different sh**t for a while now. Shortly after Congress failing to agree on a spending bill to avoid a government shutdown, the White House phone service left the following message.

“Thank you for calling the White House. Unfortunately, we cannot answer your call today, because congressional Democrats are holding government funding, including funding for our troops and other national security priorities, hostage to an unrelated immigration debate...Due to this obstruction, the government is shut down.”

This message probably would've gone over smoother if Republicans didn't have control of the White House, House, and Senate. Pettiness aside, the legality of the voice message is debatable. Using a government service to get across a partisan message? Yikes.
