Will a day ever go by when we don't have to talk about a disturbing Trump tweet? Probably not. One would assume this morning would be particularly busy for Donald Trump, who should be focusing on developing strategy to pass a Republican plan for tax reform.

This morning, Trump retweeted 3 anti-Muslim videos from a far-right British Twitter user. The tweets were titled "Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches", "Muslim destroys a statue of the Virgin Mary!", and "Islamist mob pushes teenage boy off roof and beats him to death!" The videos were posted by Jayda Fransen, a leader of the British far-right movement that advocates against the presence of refugees and Muslims in the United Kingdom. Fransen has previously been arrested for harassing a Muslim woman for wearing a hijab. The British prime minister Theresa May commented with disappointment on Trump's retweets, "It is wrong for the president to have done this.”

The validity of the videos has immediately come into question; the Dutch attorney general's office that handled the mentioned case explained that the suspect was born in the Netherlands and was not a Muslim immigrant.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the tweets, "The threat needs to be addressed. The threat has to be talked about, and that’s what the president is doing in bringing that up.”

The retweets brought him more praise from KKK wizard David Duke, who proclaimed, "Thank God for Trump!" 

The retweets from Trump are not too shocking, but nevertheless, unprecedented for a President.
