Today is President Obama's 56th Birthday and the Internet Showed Major Love

Today is President Obama’s 56th birthday, and Twitter reminded everyone just how loved the 44th President is. #ObamaDay” and #Happy BirthdayMrPresident both dominated Twitter hashtags for the day. Scrolling down your Instagram or Twitter feed, you were bound to come across some classic Obama pictures or gifs. Many also shared sentiments of how much they miss President Obama.

Michelle Obama shared a special message via the Obama Foundation, “Today is Barack’s birthday, and this year, I want to do something a little different this year…I’m asking you to share with Barack, right now, how you’re stepping up to be a better citizen in your community. I’m asking you to share your own daily act of citizenship.” Michelle Obama’s message was yet another sign of the Obama’s class and dedication to the country.
