The Trump administration's ties with Russia seem to get more questionable by the day. This week, all eyes have been on the administration for Donald Trump's Jr.'s June 2016 meeting with a Russian government lawyer. As more details that contradict Donald Trump Jr.'s initial statements about the meeting come out, people are more and more convinced the administration colluded with Russia. Some are even going so far as to call it another Watergate - one of the biggest presidential scandals in history, which led to former President Nixon resigning before Congress was able to impeach him.

Jill Wine-Banks, a former Watergate prosecutor, told MSNBC's Chris Hayes,

Wine-Banks went on to say she sees a lot of similarities between the imploding Russia investigation and Watergate. She insisted that even if Donald Trump Jr. didn't secure any damaging information on Hillary Clinton that he hoped for, the meeting was still a crime and gave foreign officials a window into the United States election.

Still, Trump's team insists this is all one giant media ploy to discredit the administration and help "fake news" run amuck. But, the hardcore evidence suggests otherwise. Just today, it was confirmed that another Russian was present at the meeting: Russian lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin. Not only is it odd that Donald Trump Jr. didn't mention this man being present in the meeting, Ahkmesthin is a Russian lobbyist with ties to Russian intelligence. This certainly raises eyebrows and seems to reinforce beliefs that the Russian government was actively involved in involving the 2016 election.
