What You Missed From Trump's Crazy Visit To Puerto Rico, In Bulletpoints
By: Kayla Pasacreta
For some reason, Trump draws headlines with even the most simple of visits. The theatrics and word choice that comes with Trump is always interesting, to say the least. His visit to Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria was no exception - he threw paper towels like he was at a basketball game, told the island yet again they should be 'proud' of only losing 16 lives, and well....the list goes on.

- The trip came after a hectic weekend of Twitter beefing with the Mayor of Puerto Rico, Carmen Cruz. In his speech of praise for Puerto-Rican leaders leading efforts to restore the island after the damage of Hurricane Maria, he left her out of his praise. Ironic, considering she has notably led efforts to call attention to the crisis in Puerto Rico. Can you say petty-in-chief?
- This dude basically told Puerto Rico they should be 'proud' they didn't suffer from a real catastrophe. WTF is this, the tragedy olympics?
- Trump visited a church and decided to get crafty with distributing supplies. By crafty, we mean he literally threw paper towels into the crowd like people toss out shirts at a basketball game.
- He joked about the recovery costs, telling the island, "You've thrown our budget a little out of whack." He probably could've chosen classier timing.
In summary, DJT's trip to Puerto Rico was considered un-presidential by many - but hey, what does Trump seem to ever do that is presidential?
